Lauren Leiderman

ist US-Amerikanerin und lebt seit 2014 in Deutschland. Sie ist zertifizierte Lehrerin für Englisch als Zweitsprache und Hobbyhistorikerin mit besonderem Interesse an jüdischer Geschichte. Durch ihre Arbeit hat sie mehr als siebzig Nachkommen und Überlebende der jüdischen Gemeinde von Görlitz aus der Zeit vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg miteinander in Kontakt gebracht. Sie ist die Verwalterin des Stolperstein-Führers Görlitz/Zgorzelec und setzt ihre Arbeit fort, um mehr Stolpersteine und persönliche Geschichten nach Görlitz und darüber hinaus zu bringen.
In ihrem früheren Leben war Lauren eine professionelle Opernsängerin, die in vielen Opernhäusern in den Vereinigten Staaten aufgetreten ist. Sie hat einen Bachelor of Music in Operngesang vom Boston Conservatory of Music.
