Elisabeth Leopoldi

came into contact with the famous artist and his family history through her connection to Hermann Leopoldi’s son Ronald. With her work on “Leopoldiana”, a two volume-edition of sheet music that she started working on in 2010/11, Elisabeth Leopoldi deepened her commitment and interest in Hermann Leopoldi’s estate and which eventually led to the writing of this short biography based on Leopoldi’s memoirs as well as countless contemporary documents collected over the span of several decades.
