Fredrik Pachla

Born in 1946, violin studies in Nuremberg, Cologne, and New York. He met Günter Raphael’s daughter Christine Raphael in Cologne. They were married in 1977. He was a member of the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn  from 1976 until 2001 and studied musicology. Christine Raphael passed away in 2008. Fredrik Pachla took over Raphael’s estate and founded the “Christine Raphael Foundation” in Hamburg. He lives in Berlin.
