Gabriele Goldfuß

studied philosophy, Sinology, and theology in Tübingen, Beijing, and Paris. She earned her doctorate in Sinology and, from 1994, worked as a lecturer at the University of Leipzig. Since 2001, she has been the Head of the Office for International Affairs of the City of Leipzig, responsible for the city’s European and international engagement, sister city partnerships, municipal development cooperation, and the Leipzig Visitors Programme for Jewish Descendants, as well as the management of this network.
