Mandy Gehrt

is a visual artist and art educator based in Leipzig. She studied art education at Leipzig University, printmaking in Oslo, and media art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. Her work has been exhibited internationally; grants and residencies have taken her, among other places, to Weimar, Cairo, and New York. Her artistic research focuses on Nazi history, the GDR past, and family biographies.
