Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli embassy staff member with German roots, was shot dead at the age of 30 on May 21, 2025, together with his fiancée, Sarah Milgrim, by an antisemitic terrorist outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. The death of the young couple made headlines around the world.Yaron’s life and work were deeply connected to Israel and its community. This illustrated volume now presents—in memory of Yaron—for the first time, a collection of the finest photographs by the talented Israeli diplomat. It brings together his photographic work with personal essays by friends, colleagues, mentors, and others whose lives were touched by Yaron.
