“Light instead of cod liver oil” Ultraviolet irradiation against rickets

Jewish Miniatures Vol. 282A

Kurt Huldschinsky was born on November 24, 1883, in Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia. He was even nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine. As a Jew, he had to flee Germany from the National Socialists in 1933/34. Together with his wife and daughter, he emigrated to Egypt, where he died in Alexandria on October 31, 1940.
