"Aktion T4" war die Bezeichnung für Krankenmord und "Patienten-Euthanasie". Unter Mitwirkung von Ärzten und Pflegepersonal wurden 1940/41 mehr als 70 000 Menschen ermordet. Die besonderen Merkmale dieser "Aktion T4" waren strenge Geheimhaltung, vorgetäuschte ärztliche Normalität bis hin zur Gründung einer Reihe von Scheinfirmen sowie deren wirtschaftliche Autarkie.
