Einweihung eines Gedenksteins für Gertrude Sandmann
Durch zwei Ausstellungen in Potsdam und Berlin-Schöneberg wurde das Werk der Malerin und Grafikerin Gertrude Sandmann in den letzten Jahren einer größeren Öffentlichkeit bekannt. Um an diese Künstlerin, die von den Nationalsozialisten als Jüdin verfolgt wurde, zu erinnern, die dank der Unterstützung ihrer Freundinnen und Freunde in Verstecken überlebte, wird an ihrem 120. Geburtstag ein Gedenkstein eingeweiht.Er ist auch ihrer Lebensgefährtin, der Akrobatin Tamara Streck (1915-1979), gewidmet.In Schöneberg lebte und wirkte Gertrude Sandmann von 1945 bis zu ihrem Tod.
